Come Sunday, all eyes will be glued to the screen as Denver and Carolina battle it out in the Super Bowl.
And, in particular, many will be watching  Peyton Manning in what is very much believed to be his swan song — his final goodbye to the sport he has loved and cherished and excelled in.
The 39-year-old Peyton Manning is widely expected to retire after Sunday — win or lose.
But regardless of what occurs, the Denver quarterback is already regarded as one of the greats of the sport.
Peyton Manning has a few things left to accomplish” before he retires, his father, Archie, recently told “http://www.denverpost.com/paige/ci_29019102/special-season-many-reasons
And winning the Super Bowl this Sunday appears to be paramount.
Manning is on the fence whether retirement beckons.
“I haven’t made up my mind,” Manning said. “But I don’t see myself knowing that until after the season. … I kind of stay in the moment and focus on the task at hand and just deal with this week. That’s what I’ve done all season. … I think, had I been thinking about things past that, it would’ve affected me. And so it’s really served me well until this point and I’m going to stick with that for one more week.”
This will be his fourth career Super Bowl as he vies for his second victory and his legacy, regardless of the result, will be etched in history.
